Injection Molding Machines
An injection molding press melts plastic, injects it into a closed mould and holds pressure while the part cools. Tonnage, shot size and clamp type are the three numbers that decide which parts a machine can produce.
Vertical presses are used for insert molding, where a cable or a metal contact is loaded into the mould. Horizontal machines are used where cycle time matters most. Tell us the part weight, the material and the insert and we will suggest a machine.
