Injection molding is how cable plugs, strain reliefs and small technical parts are produced in volume. The press closes the mould, injects the melt and holds pressure until the part sets, and the cycle repeats to a fixed time.

Vertical machines suit insert molding, where a metal contact or a cable is loaded into the mould by hand or by a robot. Horizontal machines suit higher volume work. Tell us the part weight, the material and the insert and we will suggest a tonnage.
