4 and 5 axis
A three axis machine has to stop and re-fixture a part whenever a feature faces a new direction. Adding a rotary or a trunnion axis lets the cutter reach those faces in one setup, which holds the datums and cuts the number of operations.
We supply rotary axis attachments and machines built with the extra axes from the start. Tell us the part envelope and the surfaces you need to reach and we will suggest a configuration.
