Wire stripping and twisting machine
Twisting is used on shielding braid, earth wires and paired cores where the strands have to be gathered into a clean pigtail before they go into a terminal or a splice. Doing it by hand is slow and inconsistent, so the twist becomes the weak point in the assembly.
